Our solution: Shiptd, a dating platform that reintroduces the art of matchmaking, combining the best of traditional methods with a modern twist.

1. We re-empower those closest to us to make the recommendation. Historically, matches were made through mutual friends or family recommendations, because they understand our “vibe.” Dating is about connection, not just checklists — after all, “opposites attract.”

2. We bring “shipping” to life: Matchmaking has always been a social activity — from parents playing matchmaker to friends setting each other up. But without proper incentives, this rarely goes beyond casual suggestions.

3. We provide an added layer of security from traditional online dating. Current online dating platforms have low conversion rates, with many users hesitant to meet strangers due to safety concerns.

How it works: Shiptd lets users match people from their own contact network and earn rewards for successful pairings. Users will be able to redeem points for real-world coupons and compete for the top spot on a global leaderboard.
